AFCON PAMOJA 2027: Football, Safari & East Africa
From 19 June to 17 July 2027, the Africa Cup of Nations will come to East Africa as Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda jointly host AFCON PAMOJA 2027. The tournament will bring 24 national teams together for almost one month of African football. It will also be the first AFCON to be hosted by three countries.
The name PAMOJA is a Swahili word meaning “together”, reflecting the partnership between the three host countries.
For travellers, this is an exciting opportunity to experience much more than football. You can combine the matches with Tanzania safari, Kenya wildlife, Uganda gorilla trekking, cultural experiences and a Zanzibar beach holiday.

Tanzania: Safari and Zanzibar

Uganda offers something completely different. A few days can take you into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for gorilla trekking, followed by wildlife viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
For those with three or four weeks available, combining all three countries creates a much wider East African adventure.
24-Day and 30-Day AFCON Pamoja Journeys
