Arusha in Arrival

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by our safari team and transferred to your luxury lodge in Arusha. Take the rest of the day to relax after your journey while enjoying the peaceful gardens and fresh mountain air.

Southern Serengeti (Ndutu) – Into the Calving Grounds

After breakfast, travel to the famous Ndutu region in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Depending on your itinerary, you can drive through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area or take a scenic flight before continuing to your lodge.

Arrive in time for lunch before heading out on your first afternoon game drive. During the calving season, the open plains are filled with thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and newborn calves. Predators are never far away, making this one of the best wildlife experiences in Africa.

Return to camp as the sun sets over the endless plains.

Full Day in Ndutu – The Great Migration Calving Season

Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu Plains with morning and afternoon game drives. This is the heart of the wildebeest birthing season, when thousands of calves are born every day.

Watch massive herds spread across the grasslands while keeping an eye out for lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards that follow the migration. Between game drives, return to camp for lunch and time to relax before heading out again during the golden afternoon light.

Every drive offers different wildlife sightings, making each moment unique.

Ngorongoro Crater – Big Five Safari

Leave Ndutu after an early breakfast and travel to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 metres into the crater for an unforgettable game drive across one of Africa’s richest wildlife habitats.

Search for the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing your wildlife viewing.

Later in the afternoon, ascend to the crater rim and relax at your lodge with beautiful views over the surrounding highlands.

Lake Manyara National Park & Departure

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a half-day game drive. This beautiful park is known for its groundwater forests, large troops of baboons, colourful birdlife, and its famous tree-climbing lions.

Enjoy your final safari while looking for elephants, giraffes, hippos, and many other animals before stopping for lunch.

In the afternoon, return to Arusha and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, bringing your Tanzania safari to a memorable end.
