About Tsavo National Park

Best Time to Visit

How to Reach
Tsavo can be reached by road from Nairobi or Mombasa, by train via the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) to nearby stations, or by domestic flights to airstrips within and around the park.
The Great Migration
The migration follows a clockwise route: calving in the southern plains (Jan–Mar), moving northwest toward Grumeti River (May–Jul), crossing the Mara River into Kenya (Jul–Oct), and returning south (Nov–Dec).
